RWANDA INDUSTRIES SARL is a company specializing in the manufacturing of re-tread tyres, with a market spreading across Rwanda, Burundi, Eastern Congo and Southern Uganda. The plant is located at 4187 Gikondo Industrial Park, near Rwanda Motors in Kigali, Rwanda.

We believe re-treading is the answer to that.

Re-treading is recycling. It is a process of vulcanizing pre-cured tread rubber onto used tyres called casings. A re-tread tyre costs nearly 30% the price of a new tyre, and it gives a running mileage of nearly 75% of a new tyre. Re-treading also reduces environmental hazards such as pollution by burning of used tyres and the breeding of mosquitoes in water, which collects in disposed used tyres.

RWANDA INDUSTRIES SARL will supply HCV (heavy commercial vehicle) and LCV (light commercial vehicle) re-tread tyres to transport operators of the region. We also retread, within 24-48 working hours, worn-out tyres, of the transport operators ensuring minimal down-time.

Additional services to the client include:

• professional repairs of new tyres with metal penetrations,
• reconditioning and re-treading of tyres considered as scrap,
• removal and fitting of tyres sent for re-treading,
• tyre health checks for fleets with free professional consultation, and
• free delivery of products within the city limits.
